The British Dupuytren's Society

The British Dupuytren’s Society is a UK charity that was founded in 2011 as a patients organisation, supported by doctors, and in conjunction with the International Dupuytren Society.

The British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH)

The British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) is the information and education body for Hand Surgery in the UK. We strive to improve the care of patients who suffer from hand injuries and hand disorders through education and research, and by promoting and directing the development of Hand Surgery.

The Hand Clinics website

The Hand Clinics website provides Patients, Hand Therapists and General Practitioners with relevant information on hand and wrist treatment. It also aims to provide a network of experienced and well trained Hand Surgeons across the UK, who can provide first class surgical management to all patients.

iPROMs For Patients

iPROMs is a user-friendly web-based application that allows patients to give feedback on their recent healthcare procedure, and also allows doctors to monitor patients’ health after they have been discharged.

When patient feedback is provided, doctors can remotely assess how you are responding to your treatment plan, and take action accordingly. Your responses will also be used anonymously to calculate average progress after surgery and to provide feedback about the procedure so that doctors can improve the quality and safety of the services they provide.
